Huntington is not very personable and the only thing they have going for them was their local representatives. When they are horrible you have the worst banking experience possible. A member of our family opened an account recently to deposit some money. They were told it would take five days to clear the check that was deposited. On the fifth day this branch put an additional hold on this account because it was a new account. When my family member was upset Josie, yes her Name is Josie in a Customer Service Nightmare threatened another 30 day hold. The irony about this new account holder years ago opened her first account with Huntington in the school and actually had been the student manager, we have family accounts but Josie lives up to the steroetype of a banker. Her work thropugh is to hold the money for thiirty days unless we realize that thier poor communication and inflexible banking regulations should not be questioned. If you want someone who is horrible go to Woodville, Huntigton, aske for Josie. She did offer one option get a copy of the check from the person who wrote it and send it to them. Only problem is Huntington has not returned the check yet. We know Huntington has had the money on deposit, they are earning, I am guessing we probably will have some fees attached to this. Joise Zero Stars. Horrible.
My daughter was there today to cash a check. The cashier commented on her being from Toledo, and wanted to know why she was in town. When she replied that she was helping her grandparents, the conversation became progressively unprofessional with the clerk inquiring about details of our family's affairs. Finally, the clerk made disparaging comments about my aging father. Very inappropriate behavior. A simple "Well, welcome to the Woodville Huntington!" and "Thank you for stopping here" would have sufficed and left a positive impression. People don't care, they just want to gossip. Behavior like this is why I left Huntington - and Woodville - years ago.
